Is it possible to disable the keypad? I am worried that someone might guess my code...and also since the place I park is open and people just come and go, I'm afraid that someone might try to keep on guessing the code.

they could spend a lot of time trying to figure it out,or they could just bust a window,or you could forget to lock it. i would stop worrying and start enjoy rig.what i do is park next to a jag or benz they have better stuff inside to steal.never leave any valuables in sight and there will be someone closeby who is an easy hit

I don't think it is possible to disable the keypad. If someone wants to try and guess your entry code they could be there a while. If after 7 consecutive incorrect codes (35 button presses) the keypad goes into an anti-scan mode. The keypad will flash and will be disabled for 1 minute. Then it becomes active again.
Should someone manage to gain access, they would still need a key in order to start the engine.

I'd be more afraid that someone will try to use the universal code - a large rock - than standing there trying to guess a 5 number code.

If a bad person wants into your vehicle, they are going to get in the easiest way possible.

I mistakenly locked my key fob in my Ex shortly after I got it and did not recall the code (I have since changed it). I call roadside assistance and they came to unlock it for me. It literally took all of 30 seconds to open the door. It was very disturbing. There are much easier ways to get in than guessing the code.

Dissable it? I've had my Ex for three months and STILL can't open it with the keypad and I HAVE the code! I wouldn't sweat the issue as it would be really time consuming to stand there and try to guess what code will pop the doors ............ It would be easier to just break the window.
