I was repairing a wire on my 2005 Ford Explorer in the door where the wiring harness travels through the boot, and after finishing the repair to the wire that controls window function, my locks seem to be misbehaving. Here's whats going on now.
When i push the unlock button on both the drivers side and passenger side doors it locks all the locks. When i push the lock button on either door nothing happens.
What in the world could be going on here? I tried looking throughout the forums for similar problems and cant seem to find anyone with a similar issue. I dont have a wireless key to the SUV, so I cant test if its the relay or actuator from there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated; i hope I've posted this in the right location.
