Door Pin & Bushing Dilema

I have an old as crap explorer and the pin and bushing mechanism has gone to pasture on both doors. Until i can get the parts in and installed is there anything i can do to help my door shut all the way?

I dont think you can buy just the pin or bushing,I had to buy the whole hinge for my 92 sport

88vert is right. I had the same problem on my92. I dont know of any temperary fixes.

Yes you can buy just the bushings & pin . Go to your local parts store and find the stuff calle "HELP" in red packaging and get a Mustang or F-150 kit , Cut your old one off with a Dremel or the like and install the new one I did it and it worked great. Good luck
