Door replacement

I got T-boned the other day, I need a new rear drivers side door. I went to a local salvage yard, they have a perfect-looking door, on a 99 mercury mountaineer. Will this door fit on my 1997 Explorer? I know they made some changes to the explorer after 97, but did it include the doors, which look exactly the same?

I think it'll work! I think the only "door" that wont work is the rear hatch

ok, I have one other question: besides it fitting mechanically, it appears the plastic moulding is only glued on, is that true? I don't happen to have that on mine, and I will be chipgaurding it around that area (I did that to combat rust and not have to get the whole thing repainted), so damaging the finish won't be a problem.
