Does anyone know how hard it is to replace a rear side door (passenger side) on an explorer? It looks like the door will unbolt from the hinges pretty easily, I'm just concerned about all the wiring for the door switch, speaker, and power window.
That one door on my explorer is rusted pretty bad through the bottom, so I'm looking to find a replacement that's the same color, so it won't look too bad!
If it's too involved, or I can't find a door right away, for the right price, I'll just try to cut out the rust and paint it, and maybe attach a sheet of sheet metal to cover the hole. Except for the big hole in the bottom, the rest of the door is pretty solid, and the window/latches/handles all work fine.
It's not so far up that it is opening up into the inside... yet!
