door speakers

i gotta 93 4 door i think they are 5x7/6x8s door speakers i gotta sony xplod 52x4 powered head unit i had pioneer 3 ways in the front doors and both of them blew they was rated at 250watt max i think
anybody know any good 2 or 3way door speakers that would handle the power of the head unit the cheeper the price the better lol

The sony isnt putting out anything close to 52 watts per channel so dont worry about it too much. Dont turn the head unit to max as it creates distortion and distortion is a great way to destroy perfectly good speakers. Good and cheap speakers hardly exhist. I like JL's for the door speakers if you want to stay stock size but they wont be to cheap. Also perhaps look into some lesser expensive component speakers and adaptop plates to use them in the stock locations.
