Hi i have 1994 ford explorer limited and the door switches for the dome lights have a mind of there own the driver side or back passenger side won't work and itsnot the switch i tried changing them but still nothing but the other two doors work some times i don't no if itsa wire or what if any one has any information that might help or solve the problem i would be greatful thank you.

have you checked to see if you are getting power to the motors in the doors . could also be the relay is gone or on the fritz.
 






there is no motor its the switches for the dome lights.
 






sorry blonde moment i was thinking power windows.
still could be the relay. some times they will get carboned up an sticky.
 






lol... But if its the relay wouldn't all the switches not work.
 






some times the relay will get sticky an work an wont work all depends on voltage its reciving from the battery at the time. so 1 moment it may work an a few seconds it wont . i had a automotive eleltician tell me that when i was having a problem with a fuel pump doing a go no go. an it was just the relay. an also with you being on the island an the amout of salt thats in the air i would personally sook at it. btw im from marystown.
