I have a 20 ST and been having issues with my driver's seat module. It's been in the dealership 3 times now for same reasons. After a while the drivers seat will just go all the way forward and tilt all the way in when selecting memory setting.

Also, now it won't lay back at all. Just goes to roughly a hair past 90 degrees. Makes driving not all the comfy.

Everytime I take it in they go and reprogram and or say we couldn't duplicate the issue. Well, I am not happy to say the least. One time I was drivi g and the seat decided on its own to collapse forward all the way to the steering wheel. Thankfully I was able to pull over real fast. This is not safe. Anyone else have this issue?

I haven't had this exact proble with my 2020 LTD, but the memory feature does act screwy at times. When my wife gets into the driver's seat, her fob is sensed and the seat and mirrors go to her number one memory settings. When I get in the passenger seat, the seat and mirrors go to my number two settings.

Don't know if this applies to your situation, but a while back I had a similar problem and found that this corrected it.
I have a 2020 ST. I remember a number of posts where the "Easy Entry" function of the driver's seat stopped moving the seat back or moved it forward. Yesterday after making a number of small adjustments to my seat I noticed that the "Easy Entry" function stopped moving the seat back. The steering wheel moved up but the seat stayed in place. A number of start-stop cycles of the car didn't fix it. I decided to disable and enable the Easy Entry function using the display screen to see if that had an effect. I disabled the feature after which the function was greyed out on the screen and could not be enabled. Multiple start-stop cycles of the car didn't fix this, and I figured the thing was broken and a dealer visit would be necessary. As a last resort I moved the seat to a suitable driving position, then stored that position using the button on the door panel and stored it to my key. After doing this, the Easy Entry function could be enabled and it again worked as expected. I don't know why it stopped functioning or why my actions resolved the issue, but if others have this problem you might give this a try.

Are u saying it just automatically goes to those settings? Or did u have to use the buttons on the door panel that u saved ur settings on?

Do you have your keyfob with you when you get in the passenger seat? There is a feature that automatically sets the seats and mirrors to the settings assigned to each keyfob. Works great if only one fob is present in the vehicle at a time, but if both are there, it sometimes can't decide which one to use. Look in the manual to turn it off. It should pair with the fob on the drivers side but sometimes it gets an electronic brain fart and does what it wants. I have it enabled on my ST and it works flawlessly, but sometimes it acts up on my wifes edge so I never carry my fob to her edge with me anymore when we take her car.

We always just have the one key fob in the car at all times. That's the one with the presets in it.

The seat just randomly started moving on its own while I was driving. Pinned me against the steering wheel.

Once you program the buttons on the door to remember your settings, you can assign those settings to a specific key fob. Then when you or your wife walks up and touches the drivers door handle the seat and mirrors will go to the pre selected setting assigned to that key fob.

I wouldn’t make any payments on a vehicle that tried to fold the seat forward on me while driving.

I’d escalate it above your current dealer as the are clearly unable to fix this buggy, over-engineered garbage they sold you.

Your issue is entirely different, did you try deleting your memory seat settings and then reprogram them?

Do you have the Easy Entry/Exit feature enabled?

Thats easier said than done. Believe it or not we already had the transmission completely go out. They had it for 2 months and I was still required to make payments and escalated it to the Corp customer support and that got me nothing as well.

See my post above your last one. Also, some members have been successful in getting monthly payments reimbursed for an issue like the transmission problem.

On mine nothing changes until I start the vehicle. Makes it nice and easy for an old guy to get in.

It’s not really. I’d leave it there and suspend payments. Sounds like you are in a potential buyback situation.

Yes, I am gonna use the second fob tom just for me. So we will see.
This still isn't fixing the seat not going back past 90 degrees.

Yes, dealer did 3 times now.

Yes, I have it enabled.

I have had the same issues with my 2020 ST. Apparently they fixed the problem but shortly after the seat decided to choose its own positions. This morning my seat did the same thing yours did… almost went up to a 90 degree angle and refuses to go back. Will have to take it in again.

Well, I finally got our fixed about a month ago. I had to take it in 2 more times for them to finally listen to me and replace the BCM. I was lucky they had one in stock. After the install I had to reprogram both key fobs and so far haven't had any issues with it.
