Drivers lock acuator

Hello this is my first post as I just bought a 99 Eddy explorer with a 100K

I can help anyone about boats but I will need a lil help here.

My auto locks all work but the drivers . I bought a new acuator and took the old one out and plugged in the new one NADA thing,
We followed the wires and I tryed to see if the contacts were hot but get nothing when I tryed.
I am perty handy as I can instal all types of electronice on boats but this one has me buffalowed.

As well as I'm asking my a/c works fine on Max but auto it only blows HOT ON auto.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! Check the blend door for the heat problem. As for the power door lock, get a wiring diagram from Autozone's website, and trace the wires for the driver's door actuator.

Feels funny doing the asking. I did research autozone but the door lock wiring wasn't there. Maybe someone knows how the switch panel works and I could just jump off the other door wires. Also wondering if the door keypad has somethig to do with it????
I change out the front shocks and sway bar ends and what a differance. Will get new tires and a alingment once I get all the small stuff done as they still have a lil life. I still think I like rigging my classic boat a lil better as I know what I'm doing LOL:exp:

Is it the actual lock not working or the switch on the door?

I know in my case there was a broken wire (pink/green) in the barrel by the door hinge.

No power to acuator ...I hot wired the old one and it worked and also tryed putting the new one in and confirmed itdidn't workeither. So when I fixed the passenger side (rivet pooped out R/Red it) and it worked then so It must be a short or maybe some type fuse???? . Thanks

check the barrel in between the door, more than likely a broken wire there.
