I've had this issue for a while now and now I am finally getting around to fixing it, the drivers front window in my 93" works perfectly fine 99% of the time but sometimes when i hit the down button and it keeps rolling down and will not stop even when it's fully down the motor keeps running without my hand on the switch, if i turn the truck off and on the window returns to normal operations, I've replaced the motor with a new motor craft one i replaced the master switch and the auto down module could wires touching each other cause this? Out of ideas other than there being a wiring fault all of the other windows work fine and locks and everything else

I have a '94 XLT and I have been suspicious of my driver side window switches/console for a while. have you checked the switches? How does the motor get feedback to stop?

I replaced the switch im not familiar with any of the wiring, are you having the same issue?

Similar issue here but ONLY AFTER I installed new Window Regulator Gear Plugs. IDK, but I suspect there is a mechanical timing trick somewhere that is out of sync.

What brand did you go with for the window motor? I wonder if it could be a fault inside of the motor itself
