Drivers side, outside mirror, issues

2019 Sport with 71k. When my wife drives it, she presses the setting two and it adjusts to her settings. When I get in, and press 1, for my settings? All is good, BUT the drivers side outside mirror on the door. It will adjust the mirror up until it clicks (against it's stop) for 2-3 times and then stays UP. I have to manually adjust it back to the spot I like it. This happens every time I do this now.

I'd like to avoid a trip to the stealership; so, I stopped here first. Any thoughts?

There is another member who I believe has the issue with the passenger side. It was posted not too long ago but I don't have the time to search for it right now. Gotta go and see if I can get the snowblower to work to clean about 15"+ of snow from the driveway..

2017 Passenger side mirror glass issue

My 2017 explore sport passenger side mirror will go all the way in the up position and click, until I hit the mirror down button. It does this when hitting the memory button. I can set the mirror back and hit the memory to save the position and it will be fine. Then after shutting the vehicle...

I think I found it; though, the solution doesn't sound like one that will last. I did try resetting the car by disconnecting the battery for the night. I then reset the memory settings. Didn't work.
