Hey, I have a 99 explorer XLT. I'm having trouble with the power lock switch on the drivers side. I can hit the switch and unlock all the doors, but I can't lock them. From the passenger's side the doors will lock and unlock. I went to the junk yard and got a complete console and put it in and still have the same problem. What do I look for next to replace????

welcome to the site... look in means of fuses or wires that are chaffed or harnesses that may have worked themselves loose

try looking in the black plastic canister when you open the door. i have heard of wires coming loose in there.

Thanks I will check into it

had same problem...

Do a quick search under my user name....I have posted a few times about this same issue. (bad wires and worn conections in the plastic barrel between drivers door/quarter panel)
