Driveshaft length with S.O.A. conversion

'99 XLS
With a S.O.A. conversion on a '99 2wd X with auto tranny the driveshaft yoke slips out out of the tailshaft of the tranny about 2" with the wheels on the ground. I'm sure with flexing and whatnot this amount would be too excessive to be safe. Has anybody experienced this problem and how did u correct it?
