driveshaft length

I recently put a superlift 5.5" lift onto my 92 sport. I was wondering if I have to extend the rear driveshaft.

measure its length while its still on the vehicle, then remove it from the vehicle and see how much spline is left at the measured length

I didnt have to extend mine on my 91 sport.

ya everyone's different, it just depends, my truck was SOA in the rear and i used the SuperLift 5.5" rear kit and i did have to extend my driveshaft an inch but i believe i'm in the minority, most guys on here didn't have any driveshaft problems after they installed their kits
