DRL installation?

Hi. I finally had the xdrl and xchange drivers installed. Works great. But i have a few questions regarding the installation just want to know if the electrician did the right thing. He first connected each drl to each xchange driver. Then he wired both xchange drivers like in a series circuit. So there was only one source for the ground acc power and the one that taps to the park light (drl turns off when park light is on). Was the process ok or should there be separate wirings done for each xchange driver? Thanks

From what I understand, 2011-2015 models just need a programming selection made in ids .

HID model selection gets the parking lights for drl & regular headlight model selection get the headlights for drl.

No parts needed

From the OP other posts I am guessing this has something to do with aftermarket HIDs being added? I would have just had the dealer turn on the DRL turn signal option.
