The KEY word there or words, are "to me"..... I didn't say the ride wasn't tolerable, I just said that it was stiff and harsh, which unarguably the Eibach's make it.. They are 100% performance minded, in that they stiffen up the ride to reduce body roll and improve handling. Anytime you defeat the purpose of the suspension, (dampening), it has a negative effect on ride quality. Eibachs are one of the stiffest rides out there.. it's all about personal preference and what you're trying to accomplish.
My buddy had an old skool Lincoln towncar slammed on 14" Daytons, this was before air bagging and he just heated the springs and let the cars weight drop it to the desired height. He will tell you to this day that the ride was "tolerable", but to anybody else it was like an amusement park ride.
