I have a '91 XLT. My main intention is to drop it 2 inches if at all possible and throw on some 20's. There is a lot more involved in the planning, but I have heard different things that make me question. I have heard that 1st generation Explorers ride really rough when you try to lower them. Also, I am having a hard time finding any of the parts I would like to use, for example, a rollpan. Is there anyway I can put it lower to the ground?

You can get a roll pan from FBI, fender bender inc. I was going to get one for mine, but I figured with being taller, I might need the bumper. Look in just about any truckin' magazine for the number for them.

you got 2wd or 4wd?

I'm gonna say yeah, because it looks like there are the auto hubs in his picture, but it's not totally clear.
