dropping my X, need general help

Anyone know of any resources I can use when dropping my X... I'm going for the street look, and I liked the look of 18's with a little drop. I'm thinking 3" front/rear. You guys know of cheap kits to do this before I get new tires/wheels? Thanks!!

there is no lowering kit for your explorer. if you have alot of time, research these threads...
