dude, how do i get all this black stuff off???help??

i was on my way to the beach and i ran drove over a road that was newly paved or something, but it had black stuff that splashed on my truck, it kinda looks like lineX, but it's not and it's smeared all over. i can't take it off, what do i do. any help would be great.

there are a couple of products in your auto store.
-bug and tar remover
-clay bar

hardware store cheap and easy:
-mineral spirits (what detail shops use)
- i believe simple green will as well

rememeber to repolish after you remove it as it removes your polish or hardwax and will kill your shine.

Regular unleaded should take care of it too I just get a rag and soak it in a little bit of gas and wring it enough so gas wont run down teh paint but enough to break the stuff up. Then as soon as I comes off I wash that section and re-wax or polish.

Isopropyl Alcohol, 70/30 mix. Works every time on tar.

sounds stupid, but try a lsome WD-40 on a rag and just rub and wipe off and reapeat.

fat boy actaully has one the best and quickest remedies with wd-40 trick. i forgot about that.
