Dumb question

I replaced the armrest in my 01 Sprt trac but now I don't know how to lift the darn thing up! Can someone tell me the trick? it is the one where you can slip a bag under the space.

I have never replaced mine, but I suspect your problem has something to do with the cup holder lock out on the back of it, since when the cup holder is extended, the arm rest is locked down?

I recently reaplced my own and didnt have thos problem but my son kicked the armrest a couple of weeks ago and after that I can't lift it anymore. There is a little lockout mechanism in there that prevents it from being opened when the cup holder is open. I suspect your problem is there and should be very easy for you (and me) to resolve.
