Yes I did a search and came up withg nothing on these tires. I have been looking for something to replace my BFG muds because they are worn out. I am looking for something cheaper and came across these Durango mud terrains at a local tire shop (american tire). They want $112 each mounted and balanced which seems like a great deal. I can get the same ones from pepboys for $107 each but the charge extra for mouting and balancing. Has anyone ever ran these tires or heard anything about them? It is a decent looking tire and has a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.

Apparently they are made by Cooper tire.. I would stay away from them since more than likely our drunken moderator JamesT is building them.. :D Actually considering Cooper makes alot of other tires under different labels including ProComps, I would consider them a good buy.

By the way these are 32x1150x15

yeah the guy at the shop said that they were made by cooper. They seem affordable to me. I really cant afford anything more than that right now (wish I could afford BFG muds again).

Walmart

For a/t = I would go for Walmart Liberators instead! Probably cheaper than those and walmart has a very good tire warranty, check em out at walmart.com

I have used them in the past and are a very good a/t tire if u are looking for a/t..

for m/t check out the kumho m/t, i have heard those are good

the problem is wal-mart and sams club will not mount over-sized tires on explorers(i dont know if it is like that everywhere or just here). So I am limited on my options unless I order something online which I refuse to do because of the outrageous shipping charges that I cannot afford.

Walmart mounted my 35's on my new rims knowing full well they were going on my Explorer (I actually put the tires on the truck at home). Before the 35's, I purchased 33" tires at Sams club and had them mount the tires and wheels on the truck. So this definately does not apply everywhere.

Yeah they will not do it for me here. The only place I have found in the city that will do it (besides off-road centers) is Pepboys and American tire. walmart, sams, discount tire and everywhere else will not do it for me at all.

Walmart wouldn't put 31s on mine. I was going to get the Liberators. But got an offbrand instead.

I have beenrunning the Durango a/t's for over a year and love them as long as you stay out of the mud, the m/t is supposed to be great tire and the shop I work at sells them with great positive feedback, I say go for it and then tell me because I am looking at them for myslef now!

i have Durango m/t's on my x 31/10.5/15's and i love them

i've had the same problems, bridgestone/firestone, costco (sams club) and other places won't install LT rated or anything larger than stock on Explorers

The liberator's only come in a 31" or less. Good tires though.
