- 2017 Ford Edge
Yeh My plan is to take it to dealer after the new year. It only affects her ears the first time she accelerates to about 50-60 MPH and the. Doesn’t do it again during that ride/trip. Just was curious to if anyone else had experienced this. Again we drove two other explorers and they didn’t do it at all.
Hi Troy,
I'm typing from Italy 'cause i have same problem about ears popping with a Ford Edge (nov 2017) and can't find i way to solve it
I was just surfing the web looking for anyone else with ears popping while driving, i found only your post talking about it and it looks like it's just me and your wife (or our cars...) to suffer about this problem.
For me it's harder when i drive fast on highways (more or less higher than 60 mph) and at least for half an hour or more. I drive every day for at least 2 hours mainly on highways and after few weeks i got the car, the problem it's getting serious. The more i drive, the more ears popping increasis, it lasts for at least 2/3 hours after i stop driving and it's going to be painful too
My dealer says never heard anything about this and cannot find a solution. I insist and want to ask to make them try, for at least 2 days, my car and i wanna do the same with a dealer's test car.
I believe it's a car issue because i never had ears disease and i'm feeling ears popping just by the day i start using the car and always stops after 2/3 hours i stop driving.
Last saturday i drove for the first time with my family on highway, children had no problems but my wife felt the same i did!
I supposed the guilty was Active noise cancellation technology installed on my car but some friends says it's no possible....
I really hope you or your dealer or anyone else, can find a solution because i'm really getting crazy for this.
Sorry for my poor english and hope you can share a way to solve it with me and the community
