I got the full ford shop manual, and the original ford repair dvd for the pc, which has all trucks from 96 to 2002, full detail and tests.....

ive got a chiltons manual. I think its just as bad if not worse.

I prefer the Haynes Manual. The Chiltons says "never use a screwdriver as a pry tool." 2 or 3 sections later, they show a rear differential cover being pried of with, guess what, a SCREWDRIVER! I think those books are deliberatley confusing to scare the owners from doing their own repairs.

On another note the damn hose from my pcv valve to the valve cover popped off and i spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out.

I don't understand why Doug's truck is as tempermental as it is. I drive my ranger 10 times as hard as he runs his X, but my 4banger hasn't quit mechanically, yet *wood* I'm pretty sure it's because he doesn't talk to it enough, and I also think it has something to do with the previous owner, Doug knows what I'm talking about.

ummm well we have to be at the staging area by 8:30 so I would think that were meeting a bit earlier... maybe 7:30..... depending on how fast people eat... or in Spas' case.... how much tuna is left.. lol

Well, I still haven't left yet... Last minute mods not going well at all. I haven't slept in over 24 hours and have a 6-7 hour drive ahead. I'm definitely not looking forward to that.

BTW, a really bad lightning storm is on it's way here. So I may not be able to let you guys know when I leave, but I will be there sometime late tonight.
