Eddie Bauer airbag same as XLT?

I am trying to put an EB wheel that has radio/HVAC controls on it in place of a regular wheel that only has cruise pods. I do not want to buy a JY airbag, so I gotta know if my airbag from the XLT wheel will work on the EB wheel. BTW, this is on a 96-98 wheel, I'm; not sure when they changed the wheel but I know at least those years will work. Thanks!

I am 90% sure they are the same but you will need to swap clock springs.
That is the thing that the wires go " through " so when you turn the wheel they don't get all twisted.

you will need a whole new bag/.bag cover..i have looked in to this allredy

Yeah those wheels/airbags are totally different. Isn't the XLT a 4 spoke and the EB a 2 spoke?

no they changed the wheel on 99-up's for the radoe control's..ect..but i geuss your right cause the xlt's wheel stayed the same
