First off, this site is damn AWESOME! I've used the info here to learn all i need to know about the mods i've been thinking about. Although this is my first post, :D and my mods are still in process....I've been here MANY times to research things for my soon to be "not so stock" EB. Thanks, guys!

Now to my post:
I've been thinking about having my bauer tupperware painted black to match the body. what do you guys think? I will probably need to trim it to fit the BFG 32s that i'm getting (although i REALLY want 33s), and thought it would be a good time to do both at once. Heres a before and after pic (with a little photo editing). what do you guys think? stock, black or removed entirely. Thanks.

if u decide to make it basically look like a limited, u should paint the chrome parts of the bumpers black too, just make everything black.

NICE!

btw: geocities doesn't let u host images, i found out the hard way too :(

thanks for the replies. i appreciate your feedback.

Todd - thanks for the heads up on geocities. i obviously didn't know and worked on that link for about 30 minutes thinking i was doing something wrong. ARGHH!

your not the only one :D about the easiest thing to do is just put a link for it. thats wat i do.

i do like the idea of the chrome on the bumper being painted too. that'd look awsome

For 33's, you would need alot of trimming, so just ditch the tupperware altogether.....

I have been looking at doing this too and I think I have decided to ditch the tupperware. Problems I run into is even with rock sliders every time I go off road it gets mangled. Only there are two isues with removing it.

1) lots of holes , have to fill and paint or something
2) the rear between the bumper and wheel well is not pretty without some sort of trim in there. I haven't figured out what too do yet, other than going to a salvage yard and getting the pieces off an XLT or something to paint them too.

I am going to try to paint my x this spring so I will proly pull mine off then and weld the holes shut.
