Welp dont know where to start...got this car for basically nothing because of all of the problems. where to start welp its a 2002 mountaineer 4.6 and you go to crank it up...if it decides to and it basically idles at 2-3 grand. you mash the gas and it revs back down really slow. Also the o/d light is flashing like crazy. i have codes that come up on the thing, they are p-113, p-122, p-453, p-708. i just replaced the mass air flow sensor, which fixed nothing. when i go to put it in reverse its a sudden clunk! then let off the brake then its like its in neutral then clunk! it goes into reverse. but you put it in drive and it goes right in. driving down the road it goes 1st-2nd gear ok, then basically going into 3rd gear it wants to go to around 4-5 grand then you have to let off the gas, then squeal! then it changes with a bad jerk ha. but im a dodge guy and dont really know much about these fords. heck didnt even know they had a sealed tranny untill i got this one! also the people that had it before me had a lot of work done to it. all that i can remeber is i know that they did change the ECM. but their mechanic suggested that it might be a bad wiring harness. i can find out later what all else they changed. any suggestions would greatly help out! also the ABS light is on. thanks for taking the time to read this! hopefully someone knows a lot more than me and can help out!!
