I just scored a brand new in box Flex-a-lite 185 fan from a buddy
, the only problem is it is missing some of the install pieces, including the temp sensor.
After looking around I have decided to use a Painless Dual Activation Electric Fan Relay Kit to activate the fan (can be seen here http://www.painlessperformance.com/webcatalog/largeview.php?SearchField=30114 )
I just want to know which kit I should get for my explorer (1998 4.0L SOHC), the 30114 (200°F On/185°F Off) or the 30115 (185°F On/170°F Off).
The truck is my daily driver and is used 95% of the time on the pavement, only offroad will be for camping/fishing.
As always I appreciate any input you can give me.
