has anyone put an electric fan on their explorer if so how long how much and what kind to buy also is it a worth while mod. also what about different pulley size for the vehicle and which ones do you replaceis it worth it or not looking for more power quick and easy any other ideas would be great please help

I don't have any experience with this conversion but I thought about doing it at one time also, I contactd Flex-a-Lite and they told me to use the electric fan kit designed for the Mustang and it would bolt right in. (Kit # 175) It sells for about $190.00 and I believe it comes with everything you need. I know it also provides quite a bit more cooling than the stock fan. I hope this helps.
 






look a little harder...

Better do a search on past threads regarding electric fans on the Explorer. Rick (admin.), had less than favorable results trying this setup. As I recall, he even went for the "super duper" model and found it to be insufficient.
