- 2017 Explorer Limited
I have an odd issue with my 2017 Ford Explorer Limited.
Occasionally (randomly), electrical gremlins seem to possess my Explorer. This causes all doors to unlock constantly, numerous is times in a row. If I am driving the vehicle and this happens, all doors unlock constantly and the dash will show “Memory Recall Not Permitted While Driving”. If I am parked and this happens, all doors unlock constantly and the driver’s seat will move to another memory recall position. If this happens while the car is turned off, all doors unlock constantly and the hazard lights will flash. When this problem starts, it happens several (maybe even hundreds) of times in a row. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why this occurs. I cannot find a way to recreate the problem. When this occurs, I can hear what sounds like a relay clicking in the under-dash panel and the under-hood panel.
