I'm wanting to get some Energy Suspension endlinks and front sway bar greaseble bushings for my X.

My X is lowered bout 3" do I need to get the shorter endlinks or get stock length? And what size bushing for my front bar?

THanks in advance,
Allie

Thanks for the info, got a site where you got yours from?

anyone know what my stock bar in front is?

got mine form autozone.. i can give you pics of the stock ones that i took out if you need.

ahh autoZone, should have known ;)

Looked up some info, want to make sure i'm in the right direction here...

1998 and up with 34mm front swaybar will utilize the following part numbers:

9.5167 (greasable swaybar bushings)

9.8121 (end links)

Found this on Jegs though, (i'm sure they'll have similar at the Auto sore though)

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=884&prmenbr=361

and as far as endlinks, I'm lowered bout 3" so these are what I need (4-1/2'')? Stock is 7" i believe

no you'll need one around 7 inches long i think. Let me go see how long my stock one is....

hmmm, well i thought i remembered someone saying that they were lowered 2" they are perfect.(the shorter endlinks) Said they position the sway bar more closely to "factory" than lowered with stock end links.

Thats on my moms 2000

wow didnt think they were that long (stock)

Well thanks for all your help, guess I'll just take my stock ones in and ask for some 2" shorter like you did

thanks :)

Anyone else got these for there lowered X?

Wonder what BM got? Maybe he will chime in.

No matt, talked to guys up at Auto Zone....we're not totally sure on the size.... there's a 4½" and 7" endlink.
I want to make sure I get the right size... guess I'll wait til i can get my stock one off and just get one thats shorter?

You read it from this thread:

...and it was James t who said it. :)

using shorter links on a lowered will put the bar back at the same angle it was at when it was stock height. in theory, this shouldnt affect handling too much. but, i noticed mine felt a little more "planted" when i went with shorter links. im guessing its because the new link has poly bushings and a much bigger bolt and is more rigid than the weak, crappy, cheesy stocker.

just a guess...
