I checked my engine codes today and came up with a 513, which claims to be an engine contol module. These cost about 100$ to replace and I was wondering how easy are they to install and where is this module located?

Also, I got a code 341 "Octane adjust service, pin open," this is supposedly a pin that controls how much the throttle body can be altered and that it is a thing only dealers are supposed to know about and altaer since it has to do with emissions. Any ideas about this?

Thanks

Octane adjust is a connector like the spout. It changes your timing (retards) if disconnected.

I'd check everything over again before replacing the pcm.

Like check what? It seems to match all my symptoms for the ecm

If you have done the tests by the manual then replace it. I just hate making a mistake and wasting $100 bucks.
