Engine Missing

96 Ford Explorer, was running great. I went to the market and when I went to start it, I heared a click like sound and the engine started shaking like it was missing. Does anyone know what this could be.

Engine Missing? Where did it go?: Check for a disconnected vacuum hose or other vacuum leak

Have you checked the plugs, wires, and the coil? Other than a vacuum leak, which is what your problem sounds like, (the "pop" might have been a vacuum hose or plug popping off) that's all I can think of right now. Good luck with it!
