If I were you I would look into
Exhaust (cat back) 200 and up
Intake (cone or full intake) 40 and up
Performance chip ( Hypertech,Diablo,SuperChip) 240 and up
Headers (Borla,JB,Etc) 300 and up
Throttle Body 200
Mass Air Flow Sensor 150 plus
Helix Tower (Spacer for the Throttle body) 100
New Catalyic Converter 300 plus
Platnium Plugs (Borsh) 5 each plus
New Spark PLug Wires 8mm 60 plus
Larger Aux tranny cooler 100 plus
Electric Fan (eliminate belt driven fan increase hp)
250 plus
These are a few suggestion that you can use to increase Horse Power

sweet thanks- any idea what kind of horsepower gains I would get and how much that stuff might cost?

what would make my exhaust sound really loud- like a harley davidson? or some sort of rice rocket?

depends on what you are looking for Borla makes and exhaust which which is warrenty for 1,000,000 miles
Gibson makes one as well they make it in alum or SS
also flowmaster makes one. They are all good exhaust.
I run the Gibson cat-back exhaust. the aluminium one and I haven't had any trouble with it. Many member have their prefers and there own likes. The exhaust will make a gain at the rear wheels but i ca't tell you how much because I forgot the amount. If you get the exhaust and an intake you will notice a bigger gain also you might want to check what kind of gears that you are running.
