2004 Explorer 4.0 letter K. I replaced the engine, which was not turning on, less than a year ago due to rear timing problems. I was advice that the cost of replacing would be less than repairing. I have only driven the car for only 600 miles and has good oil and level is OK. Today I was almost stranded in the road with not enough power to move the explorer and hard noise was coming from inside the engine. Could it be the same problem again? Lots of people tell me I committed a mistake getting into it.
I will appreciate suggestions, because honestly I like the way it drives.
