Engine Oil leak

Hi

This morning I saw oil under my car and its coming from the engine, I did not go under the car to see where its coming from. I'm guessing it from the gasket, I'm using synthetic oil, if I switch to regular oil will the oil leak stop? or would I have to change my gasket?

What engine do you have? 4.0, 5.0? Your leak could be coming from your valve covers down to your rear main seal.

My rear main seal will be replaced in the next month or so as it leaks BAD...1/2 a quart every 275 miles bad.

Its the 4.0 SOHC, the leak is very small, I'm ganno try to go under my car to see where its coming from.
