I replaced my right bank exaust manifold egr valve and egr tube... when I replaced the erg valve I had to disconnect the pcm harness and forgot to reinstall it after replacing the egr valve ... I went to turn the engine over without the pcm and did it for 5 to 10 seconds ... and now since reconnecting the harness the explorer has been missing and running ruff. I tried disconnecting the battery cable for 15 mins to reset the pcm that way still no fix. what can I do to get the explorer to run properly ... the truck ran fine before I disconnected pcm.
1. Pull the battery cable to let the pcm reset and set the engine to top dead center on piston one and reconnect the battery.
2. pull the exaust to see if I have blockage in the cats
but I dont think theres a blockage because of it running fine before I disconnecting the pcm
any help would be appreciated
thank you
Robert
