Engine starts but cranking continues

I turn key to crank and engine fire up but cranking continues for another 2,3 seconds, could it be camshaft position sensor?

Check for starter wiring positive/negative terminal shortcut.

My first thought would be a sticking starter drive. It’s not going to be the camshaft position sensor.

Agree with Mbrooks
