i need to know if the newer 4.0 liter motors like 96-99 and newer have the same bell housing holes as 91-95 i want to install 98 4.0 in a 94 i know i will need computer and engine harness

I don't know first hand, but i understand that you can even use the same computer that there is one sensor on the new motor you don't need to hook up.
I have considered this too. Still am, but I'm trying to find either the SOVC or a Cummins B4T.
 






At the risk of pirating his thread I've been thinking of the 4BT swap as well. Especially after seeing the write up one of the 4 wheel magazines did where the guy put one in his 75' (?) EB and was getting 25mpg @ 400hp.
 






Yes, the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same between the SOHC and OHV 4.0L motors.

I wonder what bellhousing the new V6 in the Mustang will have!
