Hi there. I noticed that my 2003 V8 Explorer has a slight engine vibration at exactly 1500rpm, give or take 100rpm. Very obvious when revving gently in park / neutral. Makes no difference if the air cond is on or not. Vehicle has only done 52,000kms and has had a very easy life.
Also, the engine mount steel indicator is 1/4 inch from the edge of the mounts guide hole on the chassis rail side (Right hand side when looking towards rear of vehicle at engine mount). I thought it should be in the centre of the hole. Is that normal? I am a tad worried that the engine mount is "compressed" or broken.
Any feedback welcome!
