Okay...I have cleaned and blown out the distributor caps. Still the engine cranks strong, but will not turn over. Sounds like it is out of gas, but I have plenty of gas. I am baffled. Also, popped fuse lid and no fuses blown that I can see...I didn't check the smaller blade fuses.

Check the fuel inertia switch located where the passenger's side floorboard meets the dash. If it's tripped, you won't have any fuel to the motor.

When you turn the key to on but don't start, are you hearing the fuel pump fire up for a second or two?

OKAY...let me add something...I disconnected all of that stuff on the passenger floor board side. There was a little black box, grounds into the chassis, etc. I had a leak and was checking it. However, I put it all back as it should be. Would this add to the problem? Thanks.

Yep. Very good chance that's your culprit. That is the fuel pump cutout relay. There is a re-set button on it. When you re-installed the box, did you push the button?

The answer to that million dollar question would be a big fat...No...now what?
Where is that button? I didn't see anything on it, but then again I didn't look.
Thanks...this is huge! My wife is about to castr....well you get the picture.

The button should be on the box up against the firewall. Somewhat similar to this.

My black box has two sets of wires that go in to it and has no switch on top. Any further help would sure be appreciated.

EUREKA!!! Got it to work...thanks guys...just like you said...I was looking at the wrong box!

Glad you found it...problems like that can drive you nutz!!
