Well I have now about 281 k on my ex, no engine work or transmision work. So far Ive replaced the brake master clynder, drivers side header at about 250k, water pump and hoses at about 220k, water pump was still working just a precaution, alternator at about the same time i did the water pump, it was still working also, battery twice, about 4 sets of tires, radiator at about 250k, all for shocks, i was able to pull and push them very easy with my hands, at about 260k, leaf springs at about the same time, front berings, upper and lower control arms and ball joints at about 250k, all four brake disks between 230-270K, all four calipers some time between the time i did the disks, replaced all four door lock plates about 3 or 4 years ago and all but the drives side door are not working again, fuel pump about 1 month ago, AC compressor and reciver dryer at about 270k, did the blend door actuator today.
no one can believe no motor or trany work, the trany is smooth as silk, ive change the trany fluid probaly 3 times and think the last time was about 230k, i afraid to change the trany fluid again.
The thing runs like great, havent had a car payment since 2001. i was paying about 525 per month when I bought her. Hope it will last another 50k.
