Exhaust for 94 XLT

Hey, I am interested in getting an exhaust system for my '94 XLT, but not quite sure what to get. I am looking at some duals cause I like look. If I get a 50 series Flowmaster and have a muffler shop run out dual pipes would that cause torque loss?

single in dual out 50 series sounds fine..... just use like 2-2.25 inch pipes out of the muffler

They are some guys here that have reported a torque loss with the duals on a V6, but if you stick with no bigger than 2 1/4" pipes. I would think you'd be fine.
