exhaust manifold

hey guys got a question if anybody knows,i have a 98 with the 5,0 cast manifold and was thinking about going tubular,but they say it wont replace the cast manifold,why?i thought a manifold was a manifold except the metal.i think it may have something to do with the thinness of the cast and the tubular is beefier?right or wrong?anybody else tried this?

The factory tube exhaust manifolds suck. They crack & break more than the cast exhaust manifolds.

Go to the modified folder, they talk about 5.0 headers there a fair bit.

I couldn't believe how bad the factory cast manifolds were.

Best option is steel with ceramic coating inside.
If you live somewhere rusty get a ceramic coating outside too.
