I, as you may know from reading my description elsewhere, have a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on my truck. As you might have guessed, it is single inlet, single outlet. I would like to make it dual outlet. Do you think it would be feasible to have a muffler shop near me take aluminum/stainless-steel tubing and extend it from a newly cut hole in the same muffler? If you think it would be possible, how much $$ do you think we're talking about here? I want a dual exhaust, but they don't make one for my truck from any brand. So, one more time...the questions are:
1. Would it be possible to make a single outlet Flowmaster 40 series muffler into a true dual exhaust using a hole custom cut into it and aluminum pipe extended from it to the other side of the truck?
2. How much (estimated) do you think that would cost me?
Thanks a lot guys...
Sean
