Exhaust question

Im currently running a thrush welded muffler and was thinking about getting a new muffler that's a little louder than i got and i was wondering if a flowmaster 40 sounds the same as my current muffler i have on or is it louder.

I just had my muffler guy remove one of the cat converters and install a Cherry Bomb on my 2002 Eddie Bauer (V8, 4.6L). It sounds awesome and I get comments from younger guys on a regular basis - low, deep, and just below the "wake the neighbors" volume. I would recommend!

Flowmaster 40 Delta Flow is LOUD! Drones on 1st & 2nd gear too if you dump it before the rear axle.

ya its dumped before the axle now but i plan to run it out back when spring comes around

I have the delta 40 on my 02 sport 4.0L and I dont think it is loud enough. at cruising speeds I dont even hear it at all
