Exhaust question

Hi guys i'm thinking of removing my muffler just leaving the resonator but a don't really know which one is it, from the engine to the back there are two after the cats, a big one that looks like a box and then comes the little round one, which one is the muffler? thanks in advance!

Cats -> Resonator -> Muffler -> tail pipe

Replacing both the resonator AND muffler with a new muffler is going to be your best bet. They are "paired" to work together. They are also heavy as all get, or atleast look like they would be.
