I was wondering, I found someone on this site that had a 4.0 1996 Exploer with a Flowmaster 40 series on it. It sounded great, I was wondering if I could do the same with my 1992 Explorer XLT. :p:

Nice. Right now I have a flimsy cherry bomb on it, and it sounds quiet as hell. I don't know if it's my compression, or if I have an exhaust leak somewhere.

oh i have stainless pipes too. your P2s should cover it up if you get tired of it. enjoy setting car alarms off with you stereo and exhaust.

I was curious if you removed your cats. From what one of my friends told me, having your catalatic converter on there can affect the proformance of your Flowmaster..etc. I was just wondering if I should leave mine on, or take them what; what the best outcome would be.

i have a loss of power in the low end. i dont know if this is from the hollow cats or the 200K i have on it or a combination. i had a plugged cat so i was just going to hollow that one but damaged the second one so that on had to come out too. i would leave them alone if i were you

Yeah, I'm thinking that would be best if I just leave them alone. Thanks for the help!
