'99 XLT V6 SOHC
hey, im new to these forums. However, i would like your guys' opinion on a good exhaust system. I like Flowmaster but i cant find anything that wiil fit my 99 XLT :(
what do yall think?

Purchase the Flowmaster muffler that you like and then take it to a local muffler shop and have them unstall a custom cat back with your muffler.

Which engine do you have? A 50 series is the only one that comes with a dual inlet and single outlet that'll match up the SOHC. If you don't want a 50 series then a Y-pipe is needed before the muffler. Otherwise if you have and OHV then you can get just about anything. Overall though a muffler and custom bending will be the way to go.
 






im drawing a blank on the engine but i know its the bigger V6. I was thinkin about doing wat Aldive said so i might do that. thanx.
 






If it the "bigger" (which there both the same size) then it's the SOHC. :rolleyes:
 






yea i know there both V6 but mine has more horsepower lol. it is the SOHC, i checked.
