hello,

no results with the search option ...

so what kind of option i have to change the end pipe of the explorer exhaust?
any other pipe end (shorter, bigger) or a differend angle to the car (less gap between the car and the pipe end)? the original one looks a bit long and hangaround :thumbdwn:
side pipes are not very welcome in germany (tüv regulation).

thanks and greetings, tom

hi kazer,

yes thats what i mean. but yours is hanging is well (distance between pipe an body).
if i should install a side pipe. would this one before or after the wheel?

thanks tom

My explorer has a small bodylift which has increased the gap between the body and pipe. I would say that having the exhaust pipe exit just after the rear fenderwell at a 35-40 degree angle would look good.

Any good shop can easily raise the pipe up for you. I don't have any pictures of mine, but when I had my exhaust done, I had them raise it up and it looks good. I'd say it's about 1"-1.5" higher up than stock.

Kazer- Get that exhaust fixed:D

i raised it up about an an inch and a half when i put my blowmaster on. looks like stock height again

And looks good too:D

thanks! all i did was instead of welding the new muffler horizontal, i welded it in at about a 40 to 45 degree angle, which pushed my third cat down towards the ground and raised my tip up

I put twin tail pipes on mine, not sure if its ur thing though
