Well, i was cut off about a month ago and flipped the girl on the freeway. Now that I'm back in the country, I need to deal with it. Damage is mostly to the back and the driver side where the car landed. Any ideas on how I can get the most money out of this thing in my garage? I have a basically brand new set of 265/75/R16 Pro Comp A/T tires that look like they made it out just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Is it a V8?

Start ripping it apart. Parts bring in the most money if you have the time and space.

Put it on craigslist.org. It's free and a lot of people track it. If it's low mileage, you may be able to part out the entire drive train for decent $$.

Low mileage... 140k... that count as low? Yeah, craigslist was my next option.

YOur other option is to go in the phone book and look for automotive salvage, reclamation, etc. in my experience (here in FLA) you'll need the title to "sell" it to a salvage yard like that (because it's still technically a vehicle). Your other option is a metal salvage yard, where, in FL at least, you don't really need a title, because it's being sold as raw material, not a vehicle.
In a place like San Jose, you're likely to have a few options for local yards.
The only positive bonuses to getting rid of a car this way is it's quick and easy- they'll likely come to your house and haul the whole thing away, and may even give you $50 for it.
IN the end, scrapping any car sucks- I hate having to do it, but if you've got neighbors that don't take well to junk cars laying in your yard for weeks and weeks, it's sometimes the only way.
Best of Luck-
Ken

For best profit - strip it and sell parts

For quickest removal of vehicle - donate it to a charity, or a junk yard
